BRIDGING LEADERSHIP FOR MINIMUM INITIAL SERVICE PACKAGE FOR SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH

The course aims to increase access to the MISP for SRH services at the service level provision and facility-level data by strengthening the competencies of local leaders to implement life-saving sexual and reproductive health information and services during disasters and emergencies.

This project has four key phases:

  • Developing the technical roadmap
  • Development of the leadership course;
  • Pilot run of the course; and
  • Turn-over of the course to institutional and academic institutions

The province is expected to:

  • Enroll in the MISP for SRH Leadership course
  • Develop implementation plan for the integration of MISP for SRH in the Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Management-Health (DRRM-H) plan
  • Assess, and evaluate the province’s capacity and readiness to implement MISP for SRH in emergencie by using the scorecard from the Technical Roadmap

  • 6.5 hours pre-workshop activities

  • 13 hours workshop sessions
    (synchronous) via Zoom
  • at least 8 hours practicum activities
