THE BRIDGING LEADER (BL) COACH COMPETENCIES
The following are the BL Coach Competencies based on the Bridging Leadership Competency Assessment (BLCA) tool:
General Competency: Coaches leaders and teams toward the achievements of their own goals

THE BRIDGING LEADER (BL) COACH COMPETENCIES
The following are the BL Coach Competencies based on the Bridging Leadership Competency Assessment (BLCA) tool:
General Competency: Coaches leaders and teams toward the achievements of their own goals
Enabling Competencies:
- Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that invites openness and honesty from the coachee/s
- Ensures that the coachee can focus on a specific agenda for the conversation
- Asks questions that generate creative thought and stimulate reflective conversations
- Establishes the coachee’s accountability to follow through on his/her goals and plans
- Maintains a positive mindset towards the coachee throughout the entire conversation
- Listens to what is said and what is not being said without biases
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERS
The expected roles and responsibilities of the members are, but not limited to, the following:
- Serve as a coach for partner leaders and other BL practitioners
- Serve as a mentor for new BL coaches, coaches-in-training, and other BLCC members, as applicable
- Participate in learning sessions and discussions on BL coaching
Members shall enjoy the following benefits and privileges:
- Inclusion in the pool of BL coaches who can be deployed or recommended to ZFF’s partner local government units
- Access to ZFF’s continuing development programs and activities for coaches
- Access to ZFF’s resources on coaching
- Enrollment in ICF-accredited programs, subject to availability of funds and ZFF management’s approval
